Crimson Catz Lip Shield comes in a retractable smooth, red lipstick type packaging with the same colored pull off lid. It is the best and luxurious packaging I have seen in a lip balm. There is a clear window at the top that allows you to identify the shade in case you hoard many from this range. The base of the tube needs to be twisted to reveal the lip shield just like you use any lipstick. It can also be twisted back to put the lip shield back in the tube. The tube is incredibly light and looks luxurious on my vanity table and of course in my bag. It is functional and easy to use. The lid is quite tight and clicks conveniently without any fear of being opened in the bag.

As soon as you open the lid, you will be greeted with a yellow lip shield bullet. It is a clear lip balm and has a mild scent of castor and jojoba oil which is not bothersome at all.
   
The lip balm is soft and smooth in texture with creamy consistency. It spreads and applies smoothly on lips without feeling heavy, greasy or waxy. It does not release clumps and feels soft and smooth on the lips. My lips feel protected and moisturized the moment I apply it on my lips. The lip shield doesn't sit on the surface of the lips but sinks in comfortably. It makes my lips feel soft, smooth, supple and nourished instantly as it contains castor oil, jojoba oil and Vitamin E. It gives a nice glossy sheen to my lips making them look pretty and healthy. It lasts for quite a long time on my lips but I have the habit of reapplying it anyway. It doesn't have a weird taste unlike other lip balms. I love using it as a base for lipsticks as it gets absorbed almost instantly and I don’t have to wait for ages. It heals and repairs dry and chapped lips within a week of continuous usage. I was suffering from dry lips due to the less intake of water and my lips instantly felt relieved with just one usage. I also love applying it over dark and bright lipsticks to give soft and delicate look to my lips. It really tones down the shade. I love carrying it in my bag and it definitely makes heads turn due to its gorgeous and elegant packaging.

I am so happy that now I can tone down bright and dark lipsticks with this natural lip shield from Crimson Catz. It treats dry and chapped lips with regular usage. It provides a lovely glossy sheen to the lips and I love applying it over my lipsticks for that gorgeous and soft look. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Born Pretty Store Polka Dots Makeup Case comes packed in a plastic. The bag is pinkish purple in color with white polka dots and smooth good quality fabric. I really got attracted to the bag by its size and color. The polka dots look really pretty and girlie. The bag is quite light and can be easily carried in any other handbag. It has beautiful polka dots and smooth finish that makes it ravishing.

The bag is opened by a zipper that is of really good quality. There are no compartments in the bag and has ample space to carry small makeup items while traveling (I use this small case for short travels or when I am out for party!). I usually carry powder foundation, lip glosses, lipstick, kajal, compact powders, blushes, wipes in this case. I then keep it in my handbag and I am ready to go. I get all things in one place. It is definitely handy when you are traveling and do not require loads of stuff to carry with you. I also got one for my mom wherein she keeps her bindis. I got the primer in samples size but the actual product comes in a black tube with all the information printed over it. The primer is off white in color with absolutely no fragrance.

The formula of the primer is very smooth, velvet like with gel sort of consistency. Before using the primer, I always make sure to moisturize my face with a moisturizer and let it soak it into my skin for few minutes. I then take a pea sized amount of primer on the back of my hands and it is actually enough for both face and neck. I have been using it for more than 4 months and I have used only 3 sachets.

The primer can be worn alone or under foundation. I simply apply the primer on my moisturized skin using my fingertips. It is easy to apply and feels really smooth and velvet-y on skin. You can instantly feel the difference in softness to the skin. It is an antioxidant rich primer that creates a perfect canvas to your makeup. I do not have visible pores but after using this primer I feel my skin looks more soft, smooth and supple. I do have few blemishes and it smoothens out the skin really well and fills in the texture issues on my skin. It does not leave any sticky feeling behind. I then wait for 5 minutes before applying foundation. I usually apply the foundation with a makeup brush and it applies easily and blends in quickly without any patches. My skin looks soft, smooth, flawless and healthy. My makeup stays put very well throughout the day without wearing off even in humid weather. As I have oily skin especially T-zone I always make sure to set it up with a powder. In winters when my skin gets dry, I avoid using powder on my skin and this primer gives a lovely dewy look to my face due to the presence of pearlescent pigments and light reflective ingredients. The primer gives a healthy, radiant look to my skin as opposed to a matte look which I am generally not fond of. It does not feel heavy on skin in fact it feels like you have nothing on your face.

•    Keeps oil at bay for the most of the day.

•    Feels extremely light on skin.

•    Makes skin super smooth and flawless.

Global Goddess Upgrade Complexion Face Primer is the best primer to create a smooth and perfect canvas for your makeup. It makes makeup last longer and feels extremely light on the skin. It helps in texture issues and makes skin smooth and flawless. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

 Born Pretty Store Nail Foil Transfer comes in a small and cute clear plastic jar with a white screw top lid. The jar is quite light and can be easily carried around in a bag. The nail art foil comes in the form of roll and is a very thin foil with leopard design on its face.

Application of the nail foil is easy but little time consuming than stickers and nail art water decals. Here are the step by step instructions on how to apply nail art foils:

• Cut nail foils into pieces large enough to cover the whole nail.

• Apply a base coat. Here I have used Revlon Nail Enamel in Silver Screen. Let it dry completely.

• Apply nail glue. Make sure you apply a thin layer of glue. Let it dry completely or when it is slightly gloopy or tacky. The key to remember is when the glue turns its color from white to transparent. My glue was already transparent so found it difficult to judge when to apply nail foil.

• Place the foil with face up and rub it using a cotton bud. Do not forget to press it at the edges of the nails.

• Peel off the foil gently. In this case I have not let my glue get dried properly and all I got are the patches.

• Apply a thin layer of top coat. Do not apply lots of top coat else it would shrink the foil badly.

The nail foils look really pretty and unique on my nails. They do not tend to get messy and I love how light they feel on my nails. As I am not so good in applying nail foils, I applied metallic nail paint as base polish to fill up the blanks that were left while peeling off. They lasted on my nails for a good 7-8 days without peeling, dulling or chipping. I absolutely loved how elegant and classy my nails look with these nail foils. I loved the patchy design I ended up with and I got many compliments too :). The nail foil comes off easily using a nail polish remover and does not create a mess.

•    Easy to use.
•    Looks elegant on nails.
•    Feels extremely light on nails.
•    Lasts for a week.
•    Gives metallic finish.
•    Easy to remove.

•    It shrinks when a thick layer of top coat is applied.

Overall Thoughts:

Born Pretty Store Leopard Nail Foil Transfer is the elegant way of decorating your nails. It is easy to use and all you need is patience to let glue dry gloopily. It lasts for a week on nails without chipping. It comes in lots of patterns so you can choose the design accordingly. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Lakme Absolute Pore Fix Toner comes in a sturdy, clear pump dispenser purple plastic bottle with a securely fitted pull off lid. The packaging is same as that as Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover (Reviewed HERE). The lid is quite tight and the bottle can be securely carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The pump dispenser allows no wastage of the toner. You can always use the screw lid of pump dispenser to use the last drop of the toner.

The toner is clear and has water-y consistency. It has a predominant scent of rose water which is refreshing. It has to be used after cleansing your face. I simply dispense one pump of toner onto the cotton ball and sweep it across my whole face and neck. The scent is obvious only when you apply it onto your skin after that it starts fading away. It feels refreshing on my skin and removes all dirt, impurities and makeup residue left after cleansing off the skin making it a highly effective product. It gets absorbed quickly and does not leave a greasy or sticky residue behind. As it is an alcohol free toner, it does not give any tingling or burning sensations to my skin which I really like. Although I cannot speak of the experience with regards to fixing of pores as I do not have large pores but it makes my skin fresh, smooth, toned and healthy. My skin looks very smooth whenever I use this toner so I can say it does help in tightening the pores. It does not dry out my skin and feels light. As it is humid weather here, my skin turns oily after few hours even if I use any oil free product so I would not blame this toner. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it. I always make sure to moisturize my face after toning as it does not intend to hydrate your skin.

•    Refreshing scent.
•    Gets absorbed quickly.
•    Does not leave sticky residue behind.
•    Feels light on skin.

Overall Thoughts:

Lakme Absolute Pore Fix Toner is a great toner for the people who are suffering from large pores. It does help in tightening the pores and make skin look smooth. It does not contain alcohol unlike other toners. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

I had never been fond of very bright lipsticks but the New Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks range totally changed my mind. They are the best bright pastel lipsticks for Indian skin tones. Rebel Bouquet is a perfect name for this range as they really remind me of gorgeous bright flowers. Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bouquet Lipstick comes in a silver tube with reddish orange pull off lid. The packaging is same as that of Color Sensational lipstick range. The lid of the lipstick snaps shut satisfactorily and won’t create a mess in the bag. There is a sticker stuck at the base of the lipstick that mentions shade number. The color of the sticker depicts the shade so it would be easy to identify a particular shade in case you hoard many from this range. Overall the packaging is quite lightweight and looks chic. It is quite sturdy too as I had dropped them twice while taking them out of the bag but fortunately it did not break :). The scent of the lipstick is very mild and hardly noticeable.

REB04 is warm neon pink with coral undertones whereas REB05 is a warm orange color. Both the shades instantly brighten up my face even when I do not wear any makeup. I truly adore both the shades and they would look flattering on all Indian skin tones. You can always mix the shades to get a shade of your choice. The formula of the lipsticks is very soft, smooth and creamy. They are applied easily but you have to be careful while applying these shades as they are quite bright and any smudge or mistake really shows up and makes you look awful. It can be applied using a lip brush or directly from the bullet. With a firm grip on lipstick, the lipstick glides easily across my lips without bleeding, smudging or feathering but I always make sure to apply a lip liner for a more defined look. They are very moisturizing and I don’t feel the need to apply a lip balm underneath them. But if you have extremely dry lips, make sure you exfoliate your lips well and apply a good lip balm. They do not feel heavy or greasy on my lips. My lips feel soft, smooth and moisturized. The pigmentation is superb and gives true deep color in a single coat. You can always layer it up for a more dramatic effect. The lipsticks provide full coverage and are good bet for those who have heavy pigmented lips. The finish of the lipstick is smooth, even, creamy and semi matte. The shades look slightly glossy when applied but settle into semi matte finish. They do not contain shimmers or glitters.

The staying power is pretty awesome. It stays put on my lips for a good 5-6 hours with eating and drinking. After that it starts fading leaving behind a beautiful tint. It does not transfer easily on mugs, cups or glasses. The lipstick is easily removed with a lip remover without staining or drying out the lips.

PROS:
•    Soft and creamy formula due to the presence of honey nectar in it.
•    Feel light on lips.
•    Superb pigmentation.
•    Great staying power.
•    Settle into semi matte finish.
•    Great for heavy pigmented lips.
•    Instantly brightens up face.
•    Reasonably priced.
•    Do not transfer easily.

CONS:
•    If you have dry lips then make sure you exfoliate them and apply a good lip balm else these lipsticks would look flaky on lips.
•    The shades have no names. Maybelline kindly hire me to name your lipsticks :D.

Overall Thoughts:

Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks are the best bright lipsticks I have tried recently. They do not look over the top and instantly brightens up the face. This range includes pink, orange and red shades so if you love bright yet wearable pastel lipsticks then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these shades to you.
