If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know I am not adding anything new in my skincare regimen. I have sensitive, acne prone skin and now I am sticking to the products that I have been using since the last few weeks! Recently I got my hands waxed and few bumps popped up out of nowhere and left few marks that looked absolutely ugly! Organic Therapie Insta Clear Marks Serum comes housed in a white and blue cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a sturdy, white plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The packaging is quite light and compact and you can easily carry it in your bag while traveling. 

The texture of the serum is just like any other lotion. It is light pink in color and has mild, pleasant scent. I applied the serum on my marks right after shower on clean skin and I was amazed to find how quickly it gets absorbed into the skin. I had been using it for two weeks and I must say it lightened my marks drastically and all I can see are very light marks that are hardly visible. It lightens marks and blemishes with regular usage.

Though I have few acne scars on my cheeks but I did not use it as I really do not want to introduce any new skincare product in my skincare regime. I would try it after my marriage so do let me know if you want me to update the post!

The face serum comes in a maroon cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a clear glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The packaging looks absolutely beautiful and luxurious with gold flecks in it. The pump dispenser dispenses the right amount of serum. As I have oily skin, I use only a pump of serum for both face and neck. If you have dry skin you might need two pumps.

The serum has gel like consistency with a mild and pleasant rose scent. I absolutely loved the fragrance of this serum. I was skeptical when I saw gold flecks in the serum as I really do not want to look like a disco ball. But as soon as I applied it on my skin it literally gets absorbed into the skin with a lovely glow behind. It feels super light and can be used as makeup primer. I had been using it for more than 2 weeks and I noticed a visible difference on my skin. It looks even, soft, healthy and radiant. 

As this is a luxurious treatment, I particularly use it as my makeup primer. My makeup tends to stay longer even in this humid weather with this serum. It contains 24K real gold, vitamin C & E. It also contains collagen so it will also help in smoothing out wrinkles and lines!

Overall Thoughts:

As my wedding is near and I would not go for facials due to my acne prone skin, I would definitely include this awesome XANADU 24K Gold Face Serum in my skincare regimen. After undergoing acne treatment, I feel my skin has turned from oily to combination. When I wake up in the morning, I could notice oily T zone but my cheeks seem pretty normal. Today I am featuring a US skincare brand Anokha Skincare founded by a plastic surgeon Nina. Here is my review on Anokha Skincare Jasmine Serum $25/ Rs 1599* which is super light and keeps skin hydrated.

Anokha Skincare Jasmine Serum comes in a bright, beautiful red cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. I totally loved the outer packaging. The actual product comes in a sturdy clear glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The dispenser in turn is covered with a pull off plastic lid to avoid any spillage or leakage. The bottle indeed looks very luxurious and can be easily carried around in a bag while traveling.

For those of you unfamiliar with serums, Serums are usually formulated with a higher concentration of active ingredients so the texture is usually lighter than a moisturizer which allows for it to be used as a stand-alone product for someone with oilier skin, or used under a moisturizer for someone with normal to dry skin.

Although the serum comes clear but the color turned yellow with time due to the presence of natural active ingredients but the product efficacy remains unchanged. The jasmine scent is very mild and hardly noticeable. The texture of the serum is soft and smooth with gel consistency. I simply take 2-3 pumps of serums onto the palm of my hands and smooth it all over your face and neck (after cleansing and toning) using two fingers. It applies smoothly and gets absorbed almost instantly. As I had mentioned previously my skin has turned combination, I follow it up with a moisturizer. If you have very oily then you can use it on its own. As this serum contains both water and oils like jasmine oil, sandalwood oil and sweet almond oil it is meant for all skin types. With regular usage, I noticed my skin looks smooth, healthy and hydrated. It is very light and hydrates the skin without clogging it. I particularly use it in the morning and at night. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.

Anokha Skincare key ingredients are derived from plants and active botanicals native to South Asia. Their products are free of parabens, sulfates, petrolatum, and artificial colors.

• Contains jasmine oil that is known for hydrating the skin.

• Some may find it pricey but little goes a long way and it is really a good value for money.

Overall Thoughts:

Anokha Skincare Jasmine Serum is one of the best serums I have tried. It is very light and feels comfortable on skin. It keeps my skin smooth and hydrated. My skin looks better and healthy. Serums must be included in your skincare regimen if you are 25+ and I would highly recommend this jasmine serum to everyone!
